All hosting platforms that Loftium uses have thorough screening protocols—really, they work! Your guests will have verified identities. They have to agree to your house rules as well as the platform's Terms of Service. This process will weed out most bad apples.
However, if you do receive a booking from a guest who makes you uncomfortable and 1) your explanation for discomfort isn't unreasonable, and 2) it does not violate the hosting platform's anti-discrimination policy, we allow you to cancel the booking without penalty up to three times per year. Again, it's rare, but feels good to have the option!
