The security deposit is determined by the landlord and covers the entire home, including the guest unit.

Your deposit is fully refundable provided that your living space and your guest space with Loftium-provided furniture has no damage beyond normal wear and tear.

When you move in, you’ll complete a walk-through report identifying any damages or maintenance areas - that way, when your lease term is completed, we can assess the refundable amount of your deposit.

By the way, Loftium's hosting platforms provide all hosts with Host Protection Insurance to cover any damage caused by guests in the guest space. In the event that a guest damages the home, as long as you report it to Loftium in a timely manner, we won’t deduct those damages from your security deposit!
